Your arrival by car
This is how to find us:
For a stress-free and easy arrival, we would like to recommend to our guests a great alternative to the new Rügen-bridge. From April to October you can avail of the ferry service between Stahlbrode and Glewitz. You can get to the ferry by taking the A 20 motorway and exit for Reinberg. After the ferry journey across the Baltic Sea, you drive along the “alte Bäderstraße” passing Garz and Putbus to get to Sellin and this way you get to Rügen while getting to know the island by traveling through Rügen’s pretty countryside. Should you prefer to travel across the new Rügen-bridge, take the first right after the bridge to go along the “alte Bäderstraße”, in the direction of Garz, Putbus and Göhren. When you arrive in Sellin coming from the direction of Putbus, continue on the main road in the direction of Göhren until you get to the end of the train line of “Rasender Roland” (here you will see a small train station on the right hand side). At the junction go left and then take the next left on to Mönchguter Straße.
Ferry link from Rostock and Sassnitz
The ferry service from Sassnitz to Trelleborg is the shortest sea link between Germany and Sweden with only 60 nautical miles. This route has been in operation since the 1909 and is known as the “Royal Line”.
The length of one trip on the passenger-cargo ships from Scandlines is about 3:45 hours. The ships are equipped for the transportation of railway carriages, trucks, trailers, cars and passengers. The ferry does not only cater for the arrival and departure of our Swedish guests but is also frequently used for day trips by the guests of the Seepark Sellin.
The ferry link between Rostock and Gedser/Denmark is also very popular. This crossing takes approximately 2 hours and offers a possibility to drastically shorten the route or to make it more interesting by building in stop-overs for example in Copenhagen. Through the shuttle service of the ferries a discovery day trip is an attractive proposal also from the Seepark Sellin.

Your arrival by train
The train offers many convenient direct ICE/IC connections from many parts of Germany to Stralsund and Rügen. For instance from urban areas such as Rhein/Ruhr and Rhein/Main, from Berlin and Hamburg as well as from Central and Southern Germany. Some of the ICE/IC trains go directly to Bergen on Rügen or to the Seaside Resort Binz, especially during the summer season. The ICE and IC trains offer a variety of meals and drinks. You can also book your seat in advance as well as spaces for your bicycle if needed. You can find information about the direct connections here
Plan your arrival:
The train’s information office does not only know the train schedule but is also able to provide information about the schedules of trams and busses and can advise how long it will take you to walk to the next stop.
